In the next year I wish to work harder and become an expert in the e-commerce and the aspects that related to the e-business to get a high GPA. Then I aimed to continue my studying and get bachelor degree. After graduation I wish to find the suitable career that I can give my best in it. I hope to achieve these goals and success in all fields in my life.

I’ve learnt many new skills in this year from the projects. One of these skills that I learned is how to deal with different members as a team and how to lead them. In addition, I became skilled at writing reports and searching for different topics. Another important skill that I learned is working in the Dreamweaver program to make my own website.

Changing on the program

If I could change some aspects of the program, the first thing that I will do it is to minimize the projects and make most of them individual to get the mark that we really deserve. In addition, I will add some classes to explain the projects more especially for the new topics which need to be taught more than just search about it.

I think my performance throughout the year was very good in general. I worked hard in most of these projects and I did my best to get a high grade. However, in some of them I felt depressed and I didn’t work very well on them because of some personal circumstances and the pressure and stress when there is no enough time to finish them.

Working as a team is a double-edge sword. Group work is a good way to learning and doing projects, however we may face some problems in dealing with different kinds of people who have different behavioral styles. It helped us very much to be more co-operated and social and this will help us in the future career. However, I faced a lot of problems while we worked as a team. Sometimes one of the members doesn’t do her parts properly or submit it late and the other be affected because of her. I think it’s not a fair way to mark the students on other student’s work.

On the other hand, some of the projects were really boring and hard and I didn’t like them. For example, I didn’t like web statistics project because it was a bit hard topic and I feel that it’s something couldn’t be done without teaching us before it. Moreover, customer relationship project was also hard, because there were no enough time to finish it. However, the worst one was changing platforms project. It was really difficult because it’s all about the cost benefit analysis which is something new and doesn’t be explained well for us, so this made me hate FINANCE in general.

My favorite three projects that I really liked and enjoyed working on them in the two semesters are Web Portfolio, E-media and Google Tool. In web portfolio project I’ve made my own website and I learned how to work in the Dreamweaver, so it was very interesting and exciting to learn how to make a website. Beside that, Google tool was very interesting too. I really like it because it was different from the others and I enjoyed being a teacher and making activities. However, my favorite project for the whole year is e-media project. I really love this project because we were working in something that we are interested in which is making media plan for a fashion design business. Moreover, it was very interesting to make and design different advertisements.

1. Themes:

It has different themes about the e-business program, academic skills and group process.

2. What’s in a Name?

It is about choosing a domain name for your business.

3. A Customer Complaint:

It’s about the customer services and how to write an email as a customer service representative.

4. Advanced analysis:

It’s about Blue Banana On-line Company and doing primary and secondary research on the impacts of the world recession.

5. Creating a Brand:

It’s to create new product and brand concept for a large company.

6. Portfolio Web Page:

It is to create your own web site using Macromedia Dreamweaver.

7. Web Statistics:

It involves analyzing data and provide information for manufacturing and marketing decisions.

8. Customer Traffic:

It’s about customer tracking and mentioning its main methods.

9. Financial Product Marketing:

Research four different financial services from four different banks and prepare a marketing proposal and apply it to identified customer segment profiles.

10. Feedback Form:

It’s to make your own survey and customer feedback form on your website.

11. When Business are our Customers:

It’s about Al Thika Packaging On-line Company and research about it and re-assessment of its website design.

12. New Software Budget:

It’s to come up with a comparison report and a budget proposal of some new software.

13. Help Doing Business Online:

It’s to research and analyze business and e-business models.

semester 2:

1. Communication Strategy:

It’s to choose an insurance company and discuss the communication strategies in it to recommend some alternative strategies.

2. International Business:

It’s to choose a new company that the UAE market doesn’t have it to produce it within the market.

3. CRM:

It’s about customer relationship management options and recommendations for our company.

4. Database: Store your Information:

It’s to use Microsoft Access and work in SQL and writ a report about data modeling.

5. E-Media:

It’s to choose and make media plan with different advertisements with their budgets for an online company.

6. Change Platforms:

It’s to make a cost benefit analysis for our company weather they should change the platform from Microsoft to Linux or not.

7. B2B Website:

Each group should create website for coffee beans as the wholesaler of the coffee beans, gourmet retailer or standard retailer.

8. Google Tools:

Each group should have two of Google tools to train the other members of the class to make them experts.

9. Internet Security:

It’s to discuss the internet security issues that threat the small e-business and the protection measures that they need to secure the business.

10. Weblog:

It’s to create this blog and reflect on it about the whole year of studying E-Business Management Program.
